Also, I am not sure if I have mentioned this before but this caterer company does an amazing job of taking care of the client, providing great food and doing complete clean up after the event. You should check em out here.
Another type of food service would be commissary foodservice. This is when food is bought not fully prepared, usually made by large production factories. Then this food is bought and finished cooking and ready for cooking. This would be a good option for you if you like to cook but do not like the preparing aspect of the process. The last food service would be known as assembly/service. This is when food is bought in a ready-to-service form and can be served after it is warmed up. This is perfect for a last minute rush to get your party served and is not very time consuming.
